We started TerraCraft Landscape from a passion for creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces through a thoughtful and sustainable approach to landscape design and construction. That purpose continues to shape how we serve homeowners, commercial property owners, managers, and others investing in their outdoor environments throughout Aurora, CO.
Our approach goes beyond designing a landscape or installing individual features. We look at the entire property and consider how landscaping, hardscaping, outdoor living areas, lighting, water use, and other elements can work together. By managing projects from the initial consultation and design through construction, we give our clients one point of contact and a clearer path from an idea to a finished outdoor environment.
Reliability is central to how we work. We coordinate our in-house crews and trusted trade partners as needed while keeping the project connected to the original plan. This design management approach allows us to combine creative landscape design, technical knowledge, quality craftsmanship, sustainability, and project coordination within one process.
We also believe a landscape should continue providing value long after construction is complete. Water conservation, smart irrigation, low-maintenance plantings, sustainable landscape practices, and long-lasting hardscapes help us create outdoor environments designed around long-term performance. Our qualifications include ISA Certified Arborist credentials, Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL) training, and Sustainable Landscape Management (SLM) certification.
Whether we are working with a homeowner creating a custom outdoor environment or a commercial property owner improving a functional landscape, we listen to how the property needs to work. Our goal is straightforward: create a cohesive landscape that fits the property, supports the people using it, and is managed dependably from concept through completion.
Our Values
Quality Workmanship
Dependable project management is an important part of every landscape we create. Outdoor projects can involve design decisions, installation, construction, specialized trades, materials, and multiple stages of work. We bring those pieces together so our clients do not have to coordinate different landscape professionals on their own. From the initial consultation through completion, we provide one point of contact and manage our crews and trusted trade partners around the approved direction for the property. This approach helps keep the design and construction process connected while giving homeowners and commercial property owners a clear source for project communication. For us, reliability also means approaching each property thoughtfully and keeping long-term performance in mind rather than focusing only on how the landscape looks when installation is complete. We want our clients to receive dependable landscape work built around their property, priorities, and intended use.
We believe attractive landscapes can also be designed with responsible resource use in mind. Water conservation, sustainable landscaping, smart irrigation, appropriate plant selection, and low-maintenance planting strategies are important considerations throughout our work. Instead of treating sustainability as a separate feature, we consider how it can fit naturally within the property’s overall design and long-term needs. Our Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL) training and Sustainable Landscape Management (SLM) certification support this approach, along with our knowledge of responsible landscape practices. Depending on the property, sustainable planning may involve reducing water demand, reconsidering planting choices, improving irrigation strategies, or incorporating xeriscape principles. These decisions should still support an attractive and functional outdoor environment. We work to balance appearance, usability, environmental considerations, and long-term performance so clients can invest in landscapes designed to serve their properties responsibly over time.
Every outdoor feature should contribute to the larger property. That is why we approach landscape construction with attention to both individual details and the overall design. Planting, hardscaping, pathways, patios, outdoor living areas, lighting, and other features should complement the architecture and work naturally with one another. Our design management process helps maintain that connection from the initial concept through construction. We combine creative planning with technical knowledge and coordinate trusted trade partners when a project requires additional capabilities. Our ISA Certified Arborist credentials also support informed decisions involving trees and the broader landscape. Whether we are developing a new outdoor environment or updating an established property, we focus on creating features with a clear purpose. Quality craftsmanship, for us, means building a landscape around how the property will actually be used while considering appearance, functionality, materials, sustainability, and long-term value together.
